Dr. Andrea Widdel

Dr. Andrea Widdel obtained her BS in Wildlife Management and Honors at UND in Grand Forks. After working in wildlife and genetic research she studied Veterinary medicine at the University of MN graduating in 2010. Andrea has made Bemidji her home since 2011 and shares her love of the outdoors with her husband and 2 young daughters. An avid bird hunter, she enjoys educating hunters on canine first aid and helping old dogs hunt well into their golden years. As a general practitioner Andrea’s medical interests include: sports and internal medicine, ophthalmology, general surgery, and routine care.

Dr. Brandi Lahn

Dr. Brandi Lahn obtained her undergraduate degrees at Concordia in Moorhead in biology and chemistry.  She then graduated veterinary school from the University of Minnesota in 2010 and completed a small animal rotating internship the following year at VCA Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle.  She has been practicing in the Bemidji area since 2012.  Her medical interests include dentistry, internal medicine, and preventative care.  When not at work, Brandi enjoys hiking, running, snowshoeing, and spending time with family including her husband, two sons, and two cats – Fishstick & Crunchy.

Dr. Lauren Alsaker

Dr. Lauren Alsaker obtained her degrees in biology and chemistry from Concordia College in Moorhead. She then spent 3 years of veterinary school on the Caribbean island of Grenada at St. George’s University, finishing her last year at University of Minnesota in 2019. She moved to Bemidji after graduation with her husband and black lab, Tig. Her medical interests include ultrasonography, surgery, internal medicine and emergency/critical care. She loves the great outdoors that Northern Minnesota has to offer and enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, hiking, and spending time with her new son.
